Artist's Notes: Slight spoilers for chapter 89. For [info]fanart100 theme #9, "Months." I had such a case of the happy after reading chapter 89 that I stayed up all night to draw this. I got really sleepy near the end, so the color isn't as nice as I would've liked. Still, it's here. :) Tried to emulate the manga designs more than I usually do.

Jean pulled Roy back into his wheelchair onto his lap; the metal thing behind him is the top of the chair. Fluffiest piece of Raj fanart yet, yes/yes?

More spoilery artist's notes fangirl ramblings to follow, highlight to read:LOL, I edited the thumbnail so people would't get spoiled for the beard. Funny stuff. So, yes, I was inspired by the LOVELY little bit of dialogue between Jean and Roy at the end, which struck me as pretty shippy, but then of course I'm biased as hell. :) Tried to emulate the manga style so I could draw our pretty Havoc like he was in my new favorite chapter ever. ^^ Anyway, JEAN'S BEARD. <3 But his poor hair. ;_; It looks like it's thining. He looked a bit sickly in his full-page panel, with the thin hair and the blanket. And yet he still managed to save everyone's ass. :D GO GO JEAN HAVOC. YAY.

I know I damn near squeed on seeing Havoc appear! One of the best chapters ever, just for that moment! And I don't even officially ship these guys, but there was definitely something there between them XD This is a gorgeous piece of work... and you really got the manga style.

I came over all shaky and happy for hours. XD It was amazing; I've never been made so happy by a comic, and I've been reading them for almost 20 years. :o

I think, even if you don't want to see them as romantically linked, this chapter proves that there's a very strong friendship between Havoc and Roy. ^_^ Of course, I always want to see them as romantically linked, so... XD

I am going to have to start one shots/shorts of THIS Havoc... my long work is het... *I'm sorry!* Havoc and Sciezka and has been going for three years.

I'm SO HAPPY that Arakawa DIDN'T forget him! I was losing it when I read so many stories of Havoc forgotten and depressed... and even suicidal. Havoc WOULD NOT DO THAT. *So it had to be fixed.*

His beard made me inappropriately happy in my pants. I have a few doujin where he has a scruffy look, and when I saw the real version I fangasmed. :D

Yay for more Havoc fic. ^_^ I'm fine with het, too; my favorite Jean het pairs are Jean/Riza, Jean/Lust (for the hotness factor XD;) and Jean/Gracia. I actually started a little fic with this Jean. ^^ After all, Roy owes him some "payment." ;)

Me too. T_T I'd get so depressed whenever I'd think of him, all alone and forgotten about in the hospital. I can understand fics where he felt that way (after all, that hospital was an awfully stark, depressing place) but I agree with you, he'd never do that. If nothing else, he wouldn't break his promise to his friends.

Jean/Gracia could be really amazing. I always loved Galux's Roy/Jean/Riza. That way you don't HAVE to choose an OTP...

Really my OTP for Jean is "happy, healthy, productive and getting some". So I'm not all that picky. ;)

I can hardly wait to see how Roy pays his tab. ;) With the amount of stuff that got sent? He has a LOT to work off.

Yeah, as long as Jean's happy, I'll be happy. ^_^ Of course, I'll have a moment of disappointment when he and Roy don't end up together, since they've been my OTP for three years (and no end in sight) but really, I just want him happy.

Jean/Roy/Riza is just the hottest threesome EVER. *_*

Haha, I had the world's longest "payment=sex" metaphor going on last night over IM. It was EPIC, let me tell you. I think my friends were ready to kill me.
